Offering a blend of powerful suction, convenient lift-away functionality, and features tailored for pet owners, this vacuum promises a top-notch cleaning experience across carpets, hardwood floors, and other surfaces.
Pros:
- Powerful Suction for Deep Cleaning: The Shark NV360 features multi-surface powerful suction, making it equally effective at deep-cleaning carpets and tackling dust and debris on bare floors. This ensures that every inch of your home is cleaned thoroughly without leaving dirt behind. Whether you're removing crumbs from the kitchen floor or dirt from the carpet, this vacuum has the muscle to do it all.
- Lift-Away Functionality: One of the standout features of this vacuum is its Lift-Away functionality. The pod detaches from the vacuum, making it easy to clean under furniture, on upholstery, or even tackle stairs. This added versatility allows you to clean areas that are typically difficult to reach with traditional vacuums, ensuring no spot is left untouched.
- Anti-Allergen Complete Seal Technology: For households with allergies, the Shark NV360 offers Anti-Allergen Complete Seal Technology paired with a HEPA filter. This technology traps dust, pet dander, and other allergens inside the vacuum, preventing them from being released back into the air. It's an excellent feature for those who want to maintain cleaner, healthier air in their homes.
- Perfect for Pet Hair: Pet owners will appreciate the vacuum’s ability to pick up pet hair with ease. Equipped with an upholstery tool and other attachments, the Shark NV360 excels in cleaning pet hair from furniture, stairs, and other surfaces. This ensures that your home remains fur-free, even in hard-to-reach areas.

Whether you're navigating around the couch or cleaning under the coffee table, the Shark NV360 gives you the flexibility to move seamlessly through your home, making the cleaning process quicker and less of a hassle.

This provides a smooth transition from carpet to hard surfaces, ensuring that your floors are treated with the appropriate care, regardless of the surface type.
- Large-Capacity Dust Cup: With a 0.9-quart dust cup, this vacuum allows for longer cleaning sessions without needing to empty the dustbin constantly. The easy-to-remove dust cup makes it quick and hassle-free to dispose of debris, and the larger capacity ensures you can clean more before needing to empty it.
Cons:
- Weight: While the Shark NV360 is equipped with a lot of powerful features, its weight might be a concern for some users. At around 13.7 pounds, it’s heavier than some other models, which could make it difficult for individuals with mobility or strength issues to use comfortably, especially during prolonged cleaning sessions.
- Cord Length: Although the vacuum is great for large areas, the cord length might not be long enough for some users, especially in bigger homes or when cleaning large open spaces. You may need to plug and unplug the vacuum multiple times, which can be inconvenient.
- Noise Level: The Shark NV360 is fairly powerful, but it can also be on the louder side compared to some other vacuums. For those sensitive to noise, this might be a downside, especially when vacuuming for extended periods.
- Pet Hair Tangles: While the vacuum is great for picking up pet hair, some users have reported that pet hair can sometimes get tangled in the brushroll. Although this is a common issue with many vacuums, it requires occasional maintenance to keep the brushroll functioning optimally.
- Dust Cup Capacity for Larger Jobs: Though the 0.9-quart dust cup is suitable for most cleaning jobs, it may not be enough for larger spaces or extended cleaning sessions, especially in homes with significant dirt and pet hair buildup. You might find yourself needing to empty it more frequently for bigger jobs.
The Shark NV360 Navigator Lift-Away Deluxe offers a well-rounded solution for households looking for a vacuum that delivers powerful suction, versatility, and pet-friendly features. With its Lift-Away functionality, HEPA filtration, and swivel steering, it stands out as a highly effective vacuum cleaner for homes with a variety of cleaning needs. While it may not be the lightest option and comes with a few minor drawbacks, its suction power, easy maneuverability, and pet-friendly capabilities make it a solid choice for many users.
The Bissell CleanView Compact Upright Vacuum is a lightweight powerhouse designed to tackle cleaning tasks in dorm rooms, apartments, and other smaller spaces. With its powerful suction, scatter-free technology, and ease of use, this vacuum offers a hassle-free cleaning experience for those looking for efficient performance without the bulk. Whether you're cleaning hard floors, carpets, or tackling pet hair, this vacuum has you covered with its simple yet effective features.
Pros:
- Compact and Lightweight Design: At under 8 pounds, the Bissell CleanView is incredibly lightweight, making it easy to carry around the house or up and down stairs. Its compact design allows it to fit easily in smaller spaces, making it an excellent choice for those in dorm rooms, apartments, or homes with limited storage. You can effortlessly store it in a closet or small corner when not in use, freeing up valuable space.
- Powerful Suction for Efficient Cleaning: Despite its compact size, the CleanView vacuum is equipped with powerful suction that delivers impressive cleaning results. Whether you're dealing with dust, crumbs, pet hair, or dirt, this vacuum can handle it all. Its suction is strong enough to clean carpets and hard floors effectively, ensuring your home stays tidy without the need for multiple cleaning tools. The suction power gives you a deep clean, even in tight spaces where debris tends to collect.
- Scatter-Free Technology for Hard Floors: Scatter-Free Technology is a standout feature of the Bissell CleanView, particularly for those with hard floors. This technology minimizes the mess typically left behind when vacuuming hard surfaces, ensuring that dirt and debris are captured without scattering. Whether you're cleaning wood, tile, or laminate, this feature makes it easier to get the job done without the frustration of chasing after rogue debris that flies out of the vacuum’s path.
- Convenient Extension Wand: The CleanView comes with a removable extension wand, allowing you to reach higher areas such as shelves, ceilings, or upholstery. This added versatility makes it easy to clean everything from floor to ceiling, without the need for a separate attachment or additional equipment. Whether you need to clean above your head or in tight corners, the wand makes those hard-to-reach spots accessible, giving you more options for detailed cleaning.
- Easy Empty Dirt Container: One of the most user-friendly features of the CleanView is its easy-to-empty dirt container. With a simple push of a button, you can dispose of the collected debris without having to touch it, keeping the process quick, hygienic, and mess-free. This is especially handy when dealing with pet hair or sticky dirt that can often cling to the sides of the bin. It helps you stay efficient and avoid any frustration during cleanup.
- Supports a Good Cause: Every purchase of a Bissell product helps save pets, as the company proudly supports the Bissell Pet Foundation. If you're an animal lover, knowing that your purchase contributes to a good cause makes this vacuum even more appealing. This charitable initiative adds an emotional value to the product, making it not only a practical choice but also one that aligns with your values.
Cons:
- Smaller Dustbin Capacity: The compact design of the Bissell CleanView means that the dustbin is smaller compared to larger vacuum models. While it's more than adequate for smaller spaces, you may find yourself needing to empty the container more frequently during larger cleaning sessions. If you're cleaning a big house or have multiple pets, you might need to take breaks to dispose of debris, which could extend your cleaning time.
- Not Ideal for Deep Carpet Cleaning: While the Bissell CleanView is effective for regular cleaning, it may not be the best option for deep carpet cleaning in homes with thick carpeting. The suction power is great for day-to-day cleaning, but for more intense dirt or deeply embedded particles in plush carpet fibers, a more specialized or heavier-duty vacuum may be required.
- Limited Reach for Larger Spaces: The vacuum’s cord length and wand extension are decent but may not be ideal for larger homes. You may find yourself needing to plug and unplug it multiple times to reach different areas, especially in larger rooms or open spaces. Though the extension wand adds versatility, the limited cord length could be a drawback in certain situations.
- Can Be Noisy: Some users might find the noise level of the CleanView to be a bit high, particularly when using it at maximum suction power. Although it's not overwhelmingly loud, it can be a bit jarring in smaller spaces.
